Design favorites for March

Some new products that caught my eye and may work well for you.  These are from the spring collections at Ballard Designs and Pottery Barn. Some are already on sale!

Lighting:
This chandelier is priced just over $200 in a classic bronze finish and clear glass beads. A real value with traditional style.  Mix one into modern design or dress up a classic room with a pair.  Down scaled from entry size to bathroom, bedroom they're just right.  Try a row of three over a dining table!

Dress up your outdoor spaces. Under an umbrella or wound through your bushes or around a tall tree, they'll look great and light up the night.  Indoors, try adding these mercury glass globe light strings to a tall plant to make your spaces festive and elegant. Strands are 8' long and emit a warm yellow glow.

Accessories:
These cotton blend pillows are in fresh spring hues. Their Fleur-De-lis embroidered motif makes them a bit more dressy than a screen print pattern. Wonderful and classic.

For a fresh new look in your rooms, store small things away. These boxes are  unique and quite a departure from wicker baskets. They posses enough character to be a great accessory.

Making a change to your sheets can often create a new look for a bedroom. You don't have to buy the set, but can mix and match top and bottom sheets with solids for a custom look. The pattern and colors on these sheets from PB are soft, spring-like and classic.

Furniture:

Love the lines of this small sofa. The price is just right and its 65" width makes the scale ideal for apartments, a small home, and even a bedroom sitting area. With Sunbrella fabric options to select from, durability never looked so good!

With sleek lines and warm wood, this desk is at home in a modern room as well as a traditional one.  Pair it with the right chair and see.  An open frame makes it a good choice to 'float" in a niche, in front of a window, or even in the center of your home office.

A great bookcase with enough character that it can (and does) serve as a room divider. The turned legs are miniature columns, and look great on both sides. Its weathered finish makes it a very trendy accent piece.
