Instead of using bottled fragrances that have toxic ingredients - did you know that petroleum distillates and pesticides are often inside - I make sprays in about 2 minutes. Mix 1 cup distilled water or a mix of 50% water and 50% vodka to keep it fresher longer with 8 -10 drops of the essential oils, of your choice. The finer the spray bottle, the better it is to spritz in the air. I use the sprays on pillows, wreaths, in the sink, in the air, on my area rugs (wait to walk on them) and more! Be sure to shake well to emulsify the oil in the water! I love Aura Cacia and find it on sale locally or at Amazon.com. Here are some favorites:
Deodorizing- 6 drops bergamot 1 drop eucalyptus and 2 drops lemon
Pet Deodorizing - 6 drops cedarwood and 3 drops tea tree
Mood Lifter - 4 drops chamomile, 3 drops orange and 2 drops ylang ylang
Stress Reliever Air Freshener- 4 drops lavender, 3 drops rose and 2 drops clary sage (optional)
Relaxation - 4 drops lavender and 3 drops chamomile
