With five days until Christmas, here are some tips for last minute ideas.
1) Place candles or flame less candles throughout the house; the mood is wonderful and the accent light warm and festive.
2) Use pine cones, branches or other winter 'findings' on your tabletop, mantle, in bowls and added to wreaths.
3) Fill a bowl with ornaments for a quick centerpiece.
4) For a fast and festive look, tie ribbon to chairs, pillows, draperies, shower curtains.
5) Use gold or silver spray where you can.
6) Wrap empty boxes for a quick display.
7) Spray room fragrances throughout. Scent is often a forgotten mood enhancer.8) Bring holiday plants indoors to your table, mantle, counter, etc...
9) Move your furniture into intimate seating areas and decorate that area first.
10) Use seasonal fruits in bowls...cranberries are great vase fillers, you can float them with candles, and create a quick garland by stringing some!
